How to reset your Doro

If you are looking to have a blank memory or simply get rid of your Doro phone, you can reset it via a "force reset", with the aim of erasing all its data.

We will see in this article how to do it via the Settings and Recovery menus of your Doro.
It is essential that you back up your data before performing a reset. Force resetting will de facto lose all of your data, including music, photos, pdf documents, app settings, or any other type of data stored on your Doro. However, what is on your Drive or online account will normally be restored. Be careful to read the conditions for saving your account so as not to have any bad surprises.

Resetting your Doro phone will restore it to the state it left the factory in.

From a software point of view, your Doro will be like new. Android offers you this possibility to erase your data from the Settings menu.
While the standard procedure is usually sufficient, malicious people who would like to have your data erased might do so.

Thus, we strongly advise you to encrypt your phone, especially if you want to give it away or sell it to a third party that you do not have a high level of trust.
If it is only for you that you are doing this, we will never advise you enough to save all of your data in order to be able to find them after this "Reset". The Play Store is full of apps that let you do this.

Refer to user ratings and comments before installing and using such an application.

Use the settings menu to erase its data

Here is the classic routine for performing a reset via this menu:
as described before, be sure to back up all data that is important to you.

Your best bet is to call a mobile phone professional if you are not sure.
Go to the Settings or Settings menu of your Doro.
Under the “Personal” menu press Save and Reset.

Then follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
Under "Personal data" go to "Factory data reset".
You may have to enter your PIN code or password during these operations.

This is completely normal, and is intended to prevent a third party from erasing all of your data.
When prompted, press 'Clear All' to clear all data from your Doro's internal memory.
Surely this is something that you will be asked spontaneously anyway, but you will have to restart your phone.

Don't worry, this is completely normal and means the reset went well.
You will know the reset was successful when you see the home screen like what you may have seen right after purchasing your Doro. It will then be easy for you to reinstall the applications you want, or even restore photos and music to memory according to your tastes.
At any time during this process, if your Doro stops responding, you can restart the system using the power button, held down for a few seconds.

If absolutely necessary, you can remove the battery from your Doro, but doing so is not recommended and could damage your phone.
In any case, we advise you to contact a telephone professional if you are not sure of yourself or if you are having difficulty.
Finally, the manufacturer or the seller of your Doro can be of assistance if need more information.
