How to change the PIN code on your cell phone
You may wish change the PIN code on your mobile phone for several reasons.

How to change the PIN code on your cell phone
Change the code PIN on your cell phone is pretty simple, you just need to know how to do it.
First make sure that the SIM card is in your mobile phone, then go to the 'Settings' menu of your smartphone, available on the home screen, or via the application Quick Settings. Then choose the option 'Security' then 'Configure SIM blocking'. From there, you can change the SIM code of your cell phone.
In the case of a configuration with two SIM cards on your mobile phone, you will be able to configure two different PIN codes, each one corresponding to a SIM card.
Please note, however, that this procedure requires that you know the current SIM code in order to be able to go to the 'Settings' menu as described. If you do not know the SIM code, get closer to the person who knows it because you could block the phone after three tries.

How to deactivate the PIN code of your cell phone
You may just want to deactivate your mobile phone's PIN code.
Nothing could be simpler to do this, once in the 'Security' menu then 'Configure SIM blocking' as described in the previous paragraph, uncheck the 'Lock the SIM card' option. Once this option is unchecked, you will have deactivated the PIN code of your mobile phone.
We do not recommend that you disable the PIN code unless you are sure what you are doing.
In fact, we will see in the following paragraph that the PIN code can save the security of your mobile phone.
PIN code change and security on your mobile phone
The PIN code is a great protection for your mobile phone and its SIM card. Indeed, in case of theft, loss or simply loan of your mobile, it is protected against malicious people.
Without the code, they will not be able to access the menus of your mobile phone if it has been locked. We therefore recommend that you regularly change your PIN code on your mobile phone for maximum security.
Be careful not to forget it though, or you might have to activate your smartphone via the PUK code.
